An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic individual with a passion for Health, Safety, Environment and Quality to join the SHEQ Team.
Reporting to the SHEQ Manager as one of two SHEQ Business Partner’s the role is to provide an efficient and effective business support service to line Management to maintain and develop SHEQ Management systems that support on-going registrations, permits etc. and delivery of the business plans.
As part of the role you will be required to :-
• Undertake risk assessments
• Develop procedures and safe systems of work
• Conduct inspections and audits
• Investigate accident and Incidents
• Create and deliver safety related training
• Create and present reports to a high standard
In order to be considered for the SHEQ Business Partner role candidates need to work well as part of a team and be able to use their own initiative. Candidates must have worked within a similar role and have a full understanding of HSE legislation, OHSAS 18001, ISO 19001, ISO 14001 standards and have excellent communication, IT and organisational skills.
It is essential that candidates have a NEBOSH General Certificate, IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management and ideally a Technician Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (Tech IOSH) or working toward Chartered Status.
